Improving Scratch Programs

We worked some more on our 'Bee_Sting' project and made some improvements. Using the 'Point towards' block I added large googly eyes onto the Cat that watched the Bee wherever it moved . The eyes stayed at one point while watching though, so I had to program the eyes to move with the arrows so that they stay on the Cat. I then also had to program the eyes to go to two different coordinates so that when the green flag was clicked the eyes don't get left behind. The eyes still looked a little bit weird on top of the Cat's original eyes. I fixed this by painting over the Cat's main costume and making the eyes orange to match the Cat's fur, so that they look invisible. The googly eyes then looked better.
I then wanted the Cat's eyes to go red and pop off when the Cat was stung. I could not say 'If touching' as then the eyes would not always change, and only one eye would if in contact with the Bee. I accomplished this task by using messages. These are similar to variables, and have an On or Off state. I used the block 'Broadcast Sting' and told the eyes 'When receive Sting...'. When the eyes saw that the message 'Sting' was broadcasting  or set to On, the eyes performed code telling them to change costume and fly to certain coordinates in the corners.
I also fixed a bug where the Bee kept moving upside-down after it dies.
I found it quite easy, but I could improve it by making the eyes fly off faster, as they wait for one second and then fly off.

Programming Interaction in Scratch

In computing we did programming with Scratch. We made Sprites interact, Sprites move randomly and made Sprites change costumes.
I found most of it quite easy, but the Bee's randomly scripted movement was a little bit hard to comprehend. In the end I did understand though.
To improve I could make the Bee's movement a bit more 'productive' as the Bee stayed at the top of the stage barely moving forward. I could make the chance of the Bee moving backwards and up less, and moving downwards and down more likely.

Checking a website

I checked the website http://www.buydehydratedwater.com/
Using these factors I decided the website is fake, although the fake and faulty product can be bought. I mainly decided this due to Amazon saying joke/gag item.

Other people say about it: Many people couldn't take the joke and made bad comments on                                           Amazon. Amazon does say that it is a joke/gag.

Prior Knowledge: I already know that dehydrating means taking the water out of something... which                                is not actually possible to do with water, as you are left with nothing.

Author: The author is an email registered under the name of @nospam.buydehydratedwater.com This              shows that an email was made specially for the website. The lack of something before the '@' is questionable, though.

Date: It was created on 10 september 2000, and updated on the 17th September 2012, which shows             that the website is monitored and updated regularly.

URL: The URL is the same as the website, http://www.buydehydratedwater.com/, showing it may be      real. The website has links to Amazon, which is a trustworthy website.

WHOIS search: A WHOIS search shows that it is a promising website, with owners that have email                   affiliated with the website

How to spot a fake website...

Here are three things to think about when deciding on the reality of a website:
1. Check facts on a website with facts from your knowledge.
2. Have a look at copyrights and people affiliated with the website.
3.Check for impurities or things that don't belong, such as someone only shipping to the U.S.A while the sending adress is U.K., or things like jokes on factual websites.
